1/23/10 -  Went in this morning to Arizona Cyclist at 5350 E. Broadway. I was looking for a set of lights, clipless pedals and MTB shoes. This shop is awsome and has a gret feel when you walk in. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and will take the time to answer all your questions. Outstanding customer service... If you go ask for Luke.

1/22/10 - We have change our 24 hour team name from Team BBB  to Team Spoke Head. Getting ready for the big dance isn't easy. My bike, my body and my wallet have been taking alot of abuse lately... but it's all worth it.  I would like to thank Ryan and Chris at RC bikes for hooking us up with all the new gear. 

Now I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a MTB shoe.  The way I go through shoes you would think I tie them to the back of my truck. So this year I decided to go with FLY Racing's Talon II MTB Shoe. The Talon II have a super stiff sole and nylon toe and heel so they offer additional support and protection. They have a simple 3-strap design and mesh in the fore foot for ventilation. I tend to lean towards vented shoes to help keep the foot cool during those long summer rides.  Then I teamed up the shoes with a nice platform clipless pedal from Shimano.  The 2010 Shimano PD-M424(525.0g) Pedal gives you the best of both worlds. The pedal offers a dual-sided pop-up bindings that position the body at 12.5 degree angle for easy and fast entry. They have a large cage for added stability and a sealed bearing cartridge axle for low maintenance. The entire package will run you about $150.00 including tax or shipping. 1/16/10 -  Team BBB went out for the first time together to ride the 24. Great ride I really enjoyed the single track...As a team we all need to work on our times. Train, train, train.... see you guys out there bright and early monday morning.

1/1/10 - Come support Team Bargain Basement Bikes at this years 24 hour in the old pueblo Saturday Feb 13, 2010 (check the Coming Events  page for more details). The Spoke Head team will be teaming up with BBB for this great event.
